Boma Femi Julius

Boma is the CEO of Globat Oil and Gas Skills. He holds an Engineering degree from the Federal University of Technology Owerri. Boma is an accomplished mud engineer. He is certified in Basic Mud Engineering, Advanced Mud Engineering, Primary Cementing, cementing practices (cementing II), Drilling well control ( combined surface and subsea BOP Stack), drilling practices and Boiset Opito.

Some of the schools where Boma studied include Murchison Drilling School, Petro Skills and Gulf publishing company (world Oil High-pressure High-Temperature drilling and completions conference) all in the United States.

Boma understands the pain of Nigerians and Africans at large who desire to have a career in Oil and Gas but are scared of the cost associated with travelling abroad for further studies. He has worked with GeoFluids Ltd, Schlumberger Gabon, M.I Swaco, Sterling Global Oil Resources and Baker Hughes GE.

Anselm Chidera Udenna

Solid Control and Drilling Waste Management Instructor

Anselm graduated from the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in 2002. He is an accomplished engineer with a degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering.

Anselm’s career kicked off in 2006 with Wasco Oil Services Nigeria Ltd. An expert in the Solids Control and Drilling Waste Management Sector. Anselm has worked on multiple semisubmersibles, drill ships, land rigs and swamps in Congo, Angola and Nigeria. He has over a decade of experience in solving problems relating to drilling fluids challenges.

Joseph Amalaha

Solid Controls and Drilling Waste Management Training Instructor

 

Joseph holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering. He received training as a mud engineer with MILPAK and got his big break with CKS Environmental Services where he rose to the rank of Project Engineer.
He has over twenty years of experience in Drilling Waste Management Operations and Solids Control. He worked as Environmental Specialist for MI SWACO in Gabon. Currently, Joseph is the head of drilling waste management and solid control at Ejovi Dredging and marine ltd. Where he handles water-based mud waste treatment.
Joseph has experience in deep offshore, offshore, swamp rigs and on-shore rigs. He has trained engineers in solids control and dewatering principles. He has also performed projects with global oil and gas multinationals such as Euro Oil, Shell, Total Upstream Nigeria and Seplat Nigeria.

Edward Alabo

Tendering and Mud Supervisor Instructor

Edward holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Port Harcourt and a Certificate in Project Management from Roehampton University. He has received extensive training and certification in Advanced Drilling Fluids Technology, Quality Management System, Mud School courses and more.

Edward worked with Shebah Exploration & Production Company as a Drilling Fluids Supervisor. He also worked with Hamilton Technologies and Schlumberger company as a Completions Fluids Engineer. He currently works with Sterling Exploration & Energy Production Company as a Mud Supervisor.

Kolawole Gabriel

Advanced Mud Engineering Instructor, Mud Supervisor Instructor and Tendering Instructor

Kolawole holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Geology from the University of Technology, Akure. He received training in wellbore clean-up, Safety Training, Advanced Drilling Fluids Technology, Completions Fluids, Health, Safety and Environment Training and design, formulation and control of drilling fluids properties within spec.

Schools include Park Royal Finishing School, Geo-Fluids Limited, Oklahoma Mud School, Gulf Technical & Safety Training centre and Vimatech basic Mud School.

Kolawole has worked with Geo-Fluids Plc in various capacities such as Drilling Fluids Engineer, Project Engineer and Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer. He worked overseas with M-I Oversea-Gabon SA as an Expat Lead Drilling Fluids Specialist and Sterling Oil Exploration as an on-site Mud Supervisor. He currently works with Baker Hughes as a Drilling Fluids Specialist.

Jideofor Nchekwube Emmanuel

Oil and Gas Accounting and Environmental Accounting

Jideofor holds a B.Sc. degree and an M.Sc. degree in Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt. He has vast experience in oil and gas accounting, auditing, environmental accounting and management accounting.

Jideofor’s objective is to use his deep knowledge of oil and gas accounting to impact a younger generation.
